The game
See, read, record and run
October 2008. Two Cóndor TV helicopters fly to a village in Tolima after a farmer’s complaint. Only one reaches the ground. Sara survives, picks up a camera, a radio and, if she dares, a flashlight, and starts documenting what someone wants erased.
There are no weapons. Your tools are a camera with night vision, a notebook, your eyes and your legs. Proof is the goal: every document, every recording and every choice changes the newscast that ends the story.

How to play
Four ideas
Document
Take out the camera, frame what it marks in red and hold the frame for 1.6 seconds. Keep photos, read documents and gather evidence in your notebook.
Listen, but doubt
The radio goes quiet where there is no signal. The voice of the Central guides you… and knows more than it says.
Survive
No weapons. Run, manage your stamina, look for the light of the road lamps or stop the monster with the camera flash.
Discover
Documents, letters and an underground laboratory. What you find decides which of the three ending newscasts airs.

Real events
Fiction, but not invented
Cobertura Total is a horror fiction inspired by Colombia’s “false positives”: civilians killed and presented as guerrillas killed in combat. The Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) documented at least 6,402 victims between 2002 and 2008.
The characters, the village, the channel, the armed bloc, the company and the project are fictional. The events are not. Inside the game there is a screen, “Memoria”, with an encyclopedic explanation: what happened, how it worked, the 2008 Soacha case, the responsibilities identified, a timeline and the sources.
Open the game and go to Memoria from the main menu.
